· Music Centre / Marimbas

Piano lessons are offered on a private basis at our Music Centre working through the
Royal Schools of Music, London. Both theory and practical are offered. After a certain level of exam, music can be credited as a Matric subject on the learners Matric Certificate.
Our Junior and Senior Marimba Band is also run through the Music Centre. This is open to everyone and should your child not be a private music student costs R100 per term. This includes Percussive Instruments which are all part of introducing the learner to the basics of music and rhythm - including timing and syncopation. As the learners move up through the school they learn more intricate tunes and combinations. Both Marimba Bands are a real treat to listen to. Both Junior and Senior Bands do performances and enter into competitions. The Senior Marimba Band also do corporate functions.
